Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Kirti Vardhan Singh has reaffirmed India’s commitment to its enduring partnership with Central Asia and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
The Minister, while speaking at the SCO Conference on “Central Asia – The Core of SCO: A Space of Peace and Joint Development” in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, highlighted India’s priorities in the SCO. These include youth engagement, cultural exchanges, strengthening regional connectivity, and civilisational linkages.
India is set to host the first SCO Civilisation Dialogue Forum in Kolkata next month.
