The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red colour warning for very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over Gujarat and Madhya Maharashtra for tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir during the next two days. Similar weather conditions are expected over parts of North East India, Punjab, Konkan, Goa, Odisha, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan during the next two to three days.
The Met Department also predicted thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands tomorrow.
For Delhi, the IMD predicted a generally cloudy sky tomorrow. According to the Weather Agency, the maximum temperature will be around 33 to 35 degrees Celsius in the National Capital while the minimum temperature will hover around 25 to 27 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
