A special prayer was performed at the Lakshmi Temple yesterday. This year’s Char Dham Yatra began on April 30. The temples of Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri have already closed for the season. This year’s Yatra set a new record for pilgrim arrivals, with 51 lakh devotees visiting the Char Dham shrines, compared to 48 lakhs last year. Over 16.5 lakh devotees visited Badrinath alone this year

Janata Dal (United) Chief Nitish Kumar will take oath today for the 10th time as the Chief Minister of Bihar. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna at 11:30 AM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many dignitaries will attend the event. Yesterday, Chief Nitish Kumar was elected as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) legislature party.

The decision was taken during a joint meeting of newly elected MLAs of the five constituent parties of the coalition in Patna. NDA had achieved a landslide victory in the recently concluded state Assembly elections, returning to power by clinching 202 seats in the 243-member House. Earlier in the day, BJP leader Samrat Choudhary was elected as the leader of the party’s legislature, while Vijay Sinha was elected as the deputy leader.

Welcoming the partnership, Ambassador Tissafi expressed hope that it would pave the way for deeper cultural ties and future collaborations across various sectors. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Rio also met with Irish Ambassador Kevin Kelly to announce Ireland as another Country Partner for the prestigious festival. Punjab Government has paid floral tributes to the great freedom fighter Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha on his martyrdom anniversary and has announced development projects worth Rs 45.84 crore for complete facelift of his native village, Sarabha in Ludhiana.

Addressing the state-level event, the Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the village will be developed as a model village. On this occasion, Bhagwant Singh Mann also paid homage to the companions of Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarabha, Vishnu Ganesh Pingle, Bakhshish Singh, Jagat Singh, Surein Singh (Senior), Shaheed Harnam Singh Sialkoti and Surein Singh (Junior) who were also executed on the same day.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Kashmiri resident named Amir Rashid Ali from Delhi in the Red Fort car blast case. According to the agency, Amir Rashid reportedly conspired with the suicide bomber Umar Nabi to carry out the terror attack, which claimed 10 innocent lives and left around 25 injured. NIA said that the car involved in the attack was registered under his name. The anti-terror agency has also seized another vehicle, which belongs to Nabi. The vehicle is being examined for evidence in the case. NIA has examined 73 witnesses so far, including those injured in the blast. NIA is working in close coordination with Delhi Police, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police, UP Police and various sister agencies. The Agency said that it is pursuing multiple leads to unearth the larger conspiracy behind the bombing and identify others involved in the case. 

 A house was partially damaged in the explosion, which was carried out in Upper Bangai village of Thanna Mandi sub-division of the district. According to officials, a security patrol found the IED near the house and called in the bomb disposal squad, which decided to conduct a controlled explosion. 

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) along with Rajasthan Police, has busted a clandestine lab at a remote village in Sirohi district of Rajasthan. In the joint operation, the mastermind and four others have been arrested. According to NCB, during the operation, the team has seized over 100 kilograms of chemicals which was sufficient to manufacture about 100 kilograms of Mephedrone, worth of 40 crore rupees.

NCB used monthly District Level Narco-Coordination (NCORD) meetings mechanism to sensitize the district police. Red flag indicators about the presence of clandestine labs were also shared by NCB with district police across the country. The Narcotics Control Bureau requests the citizens to report any suspicious activity at a place where chemicals and lab equipment are in use in a clandestine manner to local police or NCB at MANAS helpline number 1933 as it could be used for manufacturing synthetic drugs.

The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment is organizing a grand-scale culmination event celebrating five years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan on November 18th, at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Around 7,000 participants are expected to attend the event.

The event will be led by the Punjab Governor and Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment.

It aims to motivate young people and citizens at large to stay away from drugs and embrace healthier, value-driven lifestyles. It will highlight the achievements of the campaign, mobilise community participation, and reinforce collective efforts towards building a drug-free society.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan was launched on August 15th, 2020, to address the issue of substance abuse through a three-pronged strategy involving prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

In Sikkim, Additional Chief Secretary of Tourism C.S. Rao said that Doklam and Cho La will be opened for tourists by 15th of December this year under the Centre’s battlefield tourism. Earlier, both the strategic locations were scheduled for inauguration on the 27th of September, but later the state government fixed a new deadline. Talking to the media at Gangtok, Mr Rao said that all pending works are now being fast-tracked. He stated that infrastructure works at the sites are expected to be completed soon so that visitors could reach both the sites. Doklam is located at an altitude of nearly 14 thousand feet and about 70 km away from the capital, Gangtok. Cho La is mostly remembered for the 1967 India – Chinese troops’ clash.

हिमाचल प्रदेश विश्वविद्यालय के यूनिवर्सिटी इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी में मोबाइल डिवाइस सिक्योरिटी पर पांच दिवसीय बूट कैंप का शुभारंभ हुआ। इसका संयुक्त आयोजन इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एंड कम्युनिकेशन इंजीनियरिंग विभाग, यूआईटी-एचपीयू और सेंटर फॉर डेवलपमेंट ऑफ एडवांस्ड कंप्यूटिंग (सी-डैक) मोहाली द्वारा किया है। यह पहल भारत सरकार के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय द्वारा प्रायोजित सूचना सुरक्षा शिक्षा एवं जागरूकता परियोजना के अंतर्गत है। यह कार्यक्रम 14 नवंबर तक आयोजित किया जाएगा।

बूट कैंप में एचपीयू, सरदार पटेल विश्वविद्यालय मंडी, एनआईटी और सी-डैक मोहाली के विशेषज्ञों द्वारा कुल 12 सत्र करवाए जा रहे हैं, जिनमें मोबाइल परिवेश में सुरक्षा, मोबाइल इकोसिस्टम में गोपनीयता एवं अनुपालन, मोबाइल डिवाइस सुरक्षा में कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता की भूमिका, उभरते मोबाइल खतरे और एड हॉक नेटवर्क में सिबिल हमले जैसे विषय शामिल हैं। विशेषज्ञ व्याख्यानों के साथ सी-डैक के विशेषज्ञों द्वारा हैंड्स-ऑन सत्र भी आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं, जिनमें प्रतिभागियों को मोबाइल और नेटवर्क सुरक्षा के नवीनतम उपकरणों, तकनीकों और व्यावहारिक अनुप्रयोगों का अनुभव प्रदान किया जा रहा है। इस बूट कप में देश के विभिन्न संस्थानों से आए 100 से अधिक विद्यार्थी और शोधार्थी भाग ले रहे हैं। कार्यक्रम के समापन में विभागाध्यक्ष डाक्टर नीरू शर्मा ने मुख्यातिथि, विशेषज्ञों और प्रतिभागियों का धन्यवाद किया।

देवभूमि हिमाचल की शांत घाटियों में आज एक दर्दनाक मंजर देखने को मिला। कुल्लू जिले की तीर्थन घाटी के अंतर्गत आने वाली ग्राम पंचायत नोहांडा के झनियार गांव में अचानक लगी भीषण आग ने रिहायशी मकानों को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। आग की लपटें इतनी भयानक थीं कि स्थानीय लोगों के लिए उन पर तुरंत काबू पाना मुश्किल हो गया, जिससे घर देखते ही देखते जलकर राख हो गए। यह घटना ग्रामीणों के लिए एक बड़ा झटका है।

इस आपदा की सूचना मिलते ही, संबंधित सरकारी और प्रशासनिक विभागों को तत्काल सक्रिय कर दिया गया है। उन्हें निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे प्रभावित परिवारों को हर संभव सहायता और राहत पहुंचाना सुनिश्चित करें।

पूरा इलाका इस त्रासदी से स्तब्ध है और अब सबकी निगाहें स्थानीय निवासियों की एकजुटता और प्रशासन के त्वरित सहयोग पर टिकी हैं ताकि इस नुकसान से प्रभावित लोगों को सहारा मिल सके।

साईबर ठग लोगों को अब विदेश से भेजे गए पार्सल के नाम पर लोगों को ठग रहे हैं। स्टेट सीआईडी के साईबर क्राईम विभाग द्वारा आम जनता के लिए एडवाईजरी जारी की गई है कि आजकल साईबर अपराधी छात्रों एवं हर उम्र के लोगों को नए-नए लुभावने तरीको से अपने जाल में फंसा रहे हैं। साईबर ठग कोशिश कर रहे है ताकि छात्र और महिला एवं पुरुष को विभिन्न तरीकों से जाल साजी द्वारा ठग कर उनसे भारी मात्रा में पैसो की ठगी की जा सके। साईबर क्राईम टोल फ्री नंबर 1930 पर हिमाचल की जनता से विभिन्न प्रकार के साईबर फ्राड से संबधित रोजाना 200 से 250 फोन काल्स आ रही हैं। जिस पर लोगों के शिकायतों का निवारण साईबर क्राईम के तीन थाना शिमला, मंडी व कांगडा द्वारा किया जा रहा है। आम जन मानस के ध्यानार्थ यह बताया जा रहा है कि साइबर अपराधियों द्वारा लोगों को उनके मोबाईल पर क्यूआर कोड या लिंक बनाकर भेजा जा रहा है जिसे स्केन करने पर या लिंक पर कलिक करने पर ठगी का शिकार हो रहे हैं। इसके अलावा साईबर ठग ऐसी मोबाईल एप्लीकेशन बना रहे हैं जो लोन देने व पैसों को इन्वेस्टमेंट करने के लिए लुभावने आफर दे रहे हैं और लोग इसके झांसे में आकर ठगी का शिकार हो रहे हैं।

इन सबके अलावा आजकल साईबर अपराधी देश के विभिन्न राज्यों एवं हिमाचल प्रदेश के बहुत सारे लोगों के मोबाईल नंबर व उनके व्हटसएप नंबर पर उनके लिए विदेश से भेजे गए पार्सल के बारे में बताते हैं जिसके अंदर विभिन्न प्रकार की वस्तुएं होने का जिक्र किया जाता है। शातिरों द्वारा लोगों को यह बताया जाता है कि इस पार्सल में मादक पदार्थ है और यह अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है अत: आपके खिलाफ मादक प्रदार्थ अधिनियम के तहत केस किया जा रहा है। दूसरे राज्यों के पुलिस अधीकारी/कस्टम अधीकारी बनकर उन्हें गिरफ्तार करने की धमकी देते हैं। शातिर मामले को रफा-दफा करने के लिए पैसे की मांग करते हैं। इस तरह के अपराध का प्रचलन अकसर देखा जा रहा है जिससे जनता को सावधान रहने की आवश्यकता है। साईबर सेल की ओर से सूचित किया गया है कि यह साईबर अपराधी दूर के राज्यों से अपराध को अजांम देते है इनका मकसद लोगों को ब्लेकमेल करके पैसा ऐंठना होता है। ये साईबर अपराधी किसी भी समय दिन या रात अंजान लिंक भेज कर और विडियो काल करके लोगों को जाल में फसाते हैं जिस से आसानी से छात्र, महिला एवं पुरुष लोक लाज के भय से इनको पैसा भेज देते हैं। पैसा भेजने से पहले अपने किसी भी परिचित और पुलिस से संपर्क नहीं करते और ठगी का शिकार होने के बाद देरी से अपनी शिकायत दर्ज करवाते हैं।

दिल्ली में लाल किला मेट्रो स्टेशन के गेट नंबर 1 के पास रविवार शाम इको वैन में जोरदार धमाका हुआ, जिससे पूरे इलाके में अफरातफरी मच गई। धमाके में 8 लोगों की मौत हो गई है, जबकि कुछ लोग गंभीर रूप से घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। सूत्रों के अनुसार, मौत का आंकड़ा बढ़ भी सकता है, क्योंकि धमाका हाई-इंटेंसिटी का था।

जानकारी के अनुसार घायलों और शवों को LNJP अस्पताल में लाया गया है। धमाका इतना शक्तिशाली था कि आसपास खड़ी 5 से 6 गाड़ियों के परखच्चे उड़ गए और सड़क किनारे लगी स्ट्रीट लाइटें तक टूट गईं। फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचना शाम 6 बजकर 55 मिनट पर मिली, जिसके बाद कई दमकल गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं और आग पर काबू पाने में जुट गईं

दिल्ली पुलिस, फोरेंसिक और तकनीकी टीमें घटनास्थल पर पहुंच चुकी हैं और जांच में जुटी हैं। एनआईए की टीम भी मौके पर रवाना कर दी गई है ताकि विस्फोट की प्रकृति और मंशा का पता लगाया जा सके। अभी यह स्पष्ट नहीं हो पाया है कि धमाका सीएनजी लीक, केमिकल रिएक्शन, या विस्फोटक पदार्थ के कारण हुआ।

धमाके की तस्वीरें बेहद विचलित करने वाली हैं। उस समय वहां बड़ी संख्या में लोग मौजूद थे, जिससे भगदड़ जैसी स्थिति बन गई। आसपास की सड़कों और चांदनी चौक मार्केट को बंद कर दिया गया है। पूरे लाल किला क्षेत्र की घेराबंदी कर दी गई है, और दिल्ली में हाई अलर्ट घोषित कर दिया गया है।

यह विस्फोट ऐसे वक्त हुआ है जब आज ही फरीदाबाद में 2900 किलो अमोनियम नाइट्रेट बरामद किया गया- वही केमिकल जो अक्सर विस्फोटक बनाने में इस्तेमाल होता है। हालांकि दोनों घटनाओं को आपस में जोड़ना अभी जल्दबाजी माना जा रहा है, लेकिन इसने सुरक्षा एजेंसियों की चिंता और बढ़ा दी है।

He said, one assault rifle with 3 magazines and 83 live rounds, one pistol with 8 live rounds, two empty cartidges, two additional magazines, 8 large suitcases, 4 small suitcases and a bucket from which around 360 kgs of inflammable material has been recovered.

The Bill will be called ‘The Assam Prohibition of Polygamy Bill, 2025’. Addressing a press conference after a cabinet meeting, Mr Sarma said, it will be tabled in the assembly on the 25th of this month for passage. He said the government will also create a new fund to compensate the women victims of polygamy so that they do not face hardship in continuing with their lives. Mr Sarma said that if an accused is convicted of polygamy, he may face rigorous imprisonment of up to seven years. 

कर्नाटक में परप्पना अग्रहारा केंद्रीय जेल में आतंकवादी संदिग्ध जुहाद हमीद शकील सहित कुख्यात कैदियों को एंड्रॉइड फोन और एलईडी टीवी का इस्तेमाल करते हुए वायरल वीडियो फुटेज ने कैदियों की विलासिता को उजागर किया है जिस पर मुख्यमंत्री सिद्दारमैया ने दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई किए जोन की प्रतिबद्धता जताई है। राज्य के गृह मंत्री जी परमेश्वर ने इस मामले पर चर्चा के लिए सोमवार को बैठक बुलाई है। मामले के सामने आने के बाद अतिरिक्त कारागार महानिरीक्षक पीवी आनंद रेड्डी ने जेल का दौरा किया और जांच के आदेश दिए हैं।

प्रारंभिक जानकारी से पता चलता है कि वीडियो में दिख रहे कैदी 2023 बैच के हैं। जांच में यह पता लगाया जाएगा कि कैदियों ने मोबाइल फोन कैसे प्राप्त किए, उन्हें कौन लाया और वीडियो कैसे रिकॉर्ड और शेयर किए गए। रेड्डी ने कहा कि घटना में शामिल कैदियों और लापरवाही बरतने वाले किसी भी जेल कर्मचारी के खिलाफ कड़ी अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

गौरतलब है कि एक वीडियो में कुख्यात सीरियल रेपिस्ट उमेश रेड्डी को दो स्माटर्फोन का इस्तेमाल करते और फोन पर बात करते हुए टेबलटॉप एलईडी टीवी पर एक आइटम सॉन्ग देखते हुए देखा गया। वर्ष 1996 और 2002 के बीच कई बलात्कार और हत्याओं के दोषी रेड्डी ने पूरे कर्नाटक में महिलाओं को आतंकित किया था। एक अन्य क्लिप में सोने की तस्करी के एक मामले में आरोपी तरुण राजू को अभिनेत्री रान्या राव के साथ जेल परिसर में मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल करते और अपना खाना खुद बनाते हुए दिखाया गया है।

एक और वीडियो में आईएसआईएस से जुड़े आरोपी जुहाद हमीद शकील को जेल के अंदर गैजेट्स और अन्य सुख-सुविधाओं का इस्तेमाल करते देखा गया। जेल के आसपास के निवासी लंबे समय से हाई-टेक सिग्नल जैमर के कारण खराब मोबाइल कनेक्टिविटी की शिकायत करते रहे हैं, फिर भी वीडियो में कैदियों को मोबाइल फोन का इस्तेमाल करते और बिना किसी रुकावट के एचडी वीडियो स्ट्रीम करते हुए दिखाया गया है।
